Highland Shores in Palmetto Florida is an older community on the east side of Palmetto located on US Hwy 301. Yards are large, some homes are on the canals, some homes have pools.
This is a good neighborhood to check out if you are looking for the handyman special. Residents are known to have owned their homes for many years before selling and some need updating. For those who don’t want to mess with the updating, there are homes that have already gone through the process and are up to date.
Highland Shores doesn’t have any amenities due to the fact those items were not planned in developments when Highland Shores was built out. The good news is this keeps the HOA dues low.
