Tampa Florida

Tampa Florida is located on the west coast of Florida, half way down the state. Tampa being one of the major cities in Florida, brings to us great job opportunities and a host of options for tourists and snowbirds.

Roar down roller coasters in the morning at Busch Gardens, located on the north side of Tampa, row down the nature rich Hillsborough River in the afternoon. Catch a ball game from the bleachers at Legends Field just south of the Tampa International Airport. After all we are home to the New York Yankees during spring training.

Catch some rays on our world famous beaches, we have some of the best ones right here in our own back yard.

Want to see a glorious sunset? Life doesn’t get better than having dinner on the beach outside on the deck and watching one of those spectacular sunsets.

Like being in the water? Go below the surface to view the graceful motion of the endangered manatees, maybe you would prefer to parasail, go snorkeling, play on the wave runners, or taking a sail boat ride. Then surface to explore the rich diversity of Tampa Bay’s restaurants, art galleries and historic neighborhoods.

When you are in Tampa Florida there is never a dull moment. There is so much to do and see right here in Tampa. The list goes on and on, I can assure you won’t get bored living in Tampa Florida. If you want to venture beyond Tampa Florida, you are only a westward drive away from St Petersburg to view the Gulf of Mexico and all its famous beaches. Head east and you arrive in Orlando, spend the day with Mickey Mouse, brave the rides and of course just tons of shopping! Southward will take you to Sarasota, Naples and eventually Key West. All of these destinations can be reached in just a matter of hours from Tampa Florida.

Did we forget to mention golf? Tampa and St. Petersburg have a variety of challenging golf courses to choose from and with Florida’s well-renowned perfect weather, Tampa and St. Petersburg are everything an avid golfer could ask for.

You name it, Tampa Florida has it.

Tampa is an amazing place. I went there a few years ago and had the time of my life. You mentioned snorkeling with Manatees; I really, really wish I would of done that. It sounds incredible. Great post, thanks for sharing.

I have lived in Tampa almost my entire life. Home of the Tampa Rays, Lightning and Buccaneers. Also one thing that I might add is the Tampa nightlife and the parades that go on…Channelside and Ybor city are some of the night spots that stay poppin to 4 in morning if you are the type that likes to party :)
